Every journey Altamar arranges depends on the people who crew the yachts, fly the aircraft, run the houses and cook the meals. This code applies to our clients and everyone travelling with them.
Respect for people
Treat crews, staff and other guests with courtesy. We do not tolerate harassment, threats, discrimination, violence or sexual misconduct of any kind, towards anyone, in person or in writing, and that includes how you speak to your concierge.
Safety comes first
Follow the instructions of captains, pilots, crew and staff. On a yacht or an aircraft, the captain or pilot in command has the final say, including on routes, weather, water sports and who may board.
Staying within the law
Follow the law wherever you are. Do not bring, use or ask anyone to arrange illegal drugs, weapons, protected wildlife or anything else an operator would not allow. Never ask a supplier to falsify a record, a guest list or a manifest.
Places and property
Look after the yachts, houses and places you visit, and respect their neighbours and nature. You are responsible for damage caused by your party. Anchor limits, marine reserves, noise rules and local customs apply to everyone.
Privacy
Do not photograph or film crew, staff or other guests without their permission, and respect any confidentiality rules of a yacht, house or restaurant.
Responsibility for your party
You are responsible for the conduct of everyone in your party, including children, staff and guests who join you during the journey. Everyone on board or in a house must be on the guest list given to the operator.
If the code is broken
A supplier may refuse service, end a charter, remove a guest or divert a flight if this code or its own rules are broken, and we may stop working with you. No refund is due in those cases, and you are responsible for the costs that result, as set out in our Booking Terms.
