Altamar's clients trust us with their families, their privacy and their money, and they trust the suppliers we choose. This code sets out what we expect from every hotel, owner, operator, restaurant and partner we work with.
Licences, safety and insurance
Hold and keep up to date every licence, certificate and insurance policy your service requires, with limits fit for it: for aircraft, a certificate to carry paying passengers and passenger and third-party liability cover; for yachts, the right to charter commercially where you sail and protection and indemnity cover; for houses, public liability cover. Send us current certificates when we ask, name us on your policy where it allows, and tell us before any of them lapses or changes.
Meet the safety standards of your flag, regulator or industry, and tell us at once of any accident, incident, inspection failure or loss of certification that could affect a client.
Sanctions and the law
Comply with all laws that apply to you, including sanctions, export controls and anti-money-laundering rules. Tell us at once if you, your owners or controllers, or any vessel or aircraft you provide, become subject to sanctions or an investigation. See Global Sanctions Compliance.
Honest dealing
We do not offer or accept bribes, kickbacks or improper gifts, and neither may you. Describe your services accurately, give true prices and inclusions, and invoice only what was agreed. Tell us of any conflict of interest with a client or with anyone at Altamar.
People
Treat those who work for you with dignity. Forced labour, child labour, human trafficking, discrimination and harassment are not acceptable anywhere in your operation or your own supply chain. Pay at least what the law requires, respect working-hours and rest rules, and make sure crew and staff are properly trained and qualified.
Discretion and data
Treat everything about our clients as confidential: names, itineraries, guests, preferences and the fact that they have travelled at all. Do not publicise a client or share photographs of them without their written consent. Use personal data only to provide the service, keep it secure, and tell us immediately of any breach.
Place and environment
Follow environmental law and do your part to protect the seas, landscapes and communities our clients come to see. Respect marine reserves, anchoring rules and wildlife protections, and handle waste and fuel responsibly.
Speaking up, and our rights
Tell us at concierge@example.com if you see anything that breaches this code. We treat reports in confidence and will not penalise anyone for raising a concern in good faith. We may ask you to show that you comply, and we may stop working with you if you do not.
